Website Privacy Policy

YF Psychology LLC is the private psychology practice of Dr. Yaphet Fisseha, PsyD. This policy explains what information we collect through www.yfpsychology.com and how we protect it. If you become a client, your health information is also protected under HIPAA, as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Information we collect
- Booking page: when you book a consultation or appointment, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. Our booking page runs on Google Calendar through Google Workspace, which has signed a HIPAA business associate agreement (BAA) with us.
- Contact form: your name, phone number, email address, and an optional note about the services you are looking for. It is provided by Webflow.
- Website data: our hosting provider, Webflow, automatically records standard information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. We also use Google Analytics, as described under Cookies and analytics below.
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to you, schedule consultations and appointments, and keep the website working and secure. We do not sell your information, use it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list without your permission. We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and practice, such as Google Workspace, our hosting provider, Webflow, and Google Analytics, and only as needed to provide their services. We may also share information when the law requires it.
Please keep your message brief
Share only what we need to reach you. We will talk through the details during your consultation call. Regular email is not fully secure, so please do not email health details.
Not for emergencies
Our contact form, booking page, and inbox are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.
Cookies and analytics
We use the cookies needed for the website, contact form, and booking page to work.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website: for example, which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, what type of device and browser they use, and their approximate location, such as city or region. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information, and Google handles it under its own privacy policy. We use it only to understand and improve the website. We do not use it for advertising, remarketing, or ad personalization, and we do not run it on the pages that contain our booking page or contact form.
To opt out of Google Analytics, you can install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may keep some features of the website from working.
How we protect and keep your information
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only Dr. Yaphet Fisseha can access what you submit. If you do not become a client, we delete your inquiry within 12 months. No website is completely secure.
Your choices
To ask what information we have about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email dryaphet@yfpsychology.com.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
